Weddings, birthdays, corporate events, anniversaries, graduations — all of these need professional people to «not break the moment». Here are the average 2026 prices, what's included, how to read the contract, and why a package is always cheaper.

Types of performers and their roles

Host (toastmaster): the lead of the evening. Introduces guests, runs the programme, announces toasts, keeps the energy. A good host doesn't «entertain» — they «steer the atmosphere».

What should be in the contract

1. Date, time, venue. Specific: «12 June 2026, 17:00–01:00, XYZ restaurant, Burgas».

3. Team composition. How many people, who's responsible for what.
4. Equipment. What the performer brings, what the venue provides (power, screen, tables).
5. Props. Host's games and prizes, entertainer's costumes, photographer's gear (camera/lenses).
6. Payment: 30–50% deposit at signing, balance on the day or 1–3 days before.
7. Cancellation: before date X — no charge. Less — 30–100% fee. Confirm.
8. Deliverables: photo count, video length, when ready (standard 4–8 weeks).
9. Force majeure: what counts, how payment is recalculated.
10. Performer substitution: if the host is ill, who replaces them and who covers the difference.

What to avoid

• ❌ Host «recommended by someone» with no portfolio. A good host will share full video of a real event, not just highlights.
• ❌ Photographer with no wedding experience. Wedding work is its own genre. A studio shooter who «sometimes does weddings» will deliver decent couple portraits but botch the reception.
• ❌ Suspiciously cheap package. «Full wedding for €800» — usually hidden upcharges along the way.
• ❌ No deposit. A performer happy to work without a deposit doesn't value the date and may «forget» on the day.
