Moving Furniture in Bulgaria: 2026 Prices and What's Included

Moving in Bulgaria — from one suitcase to a full 3-bedroom apartment — long since stopped being a «find a friend with a van» problem. The Black Sea coast has dozens of professional movers with branded vans, staff, and insurance. Here are the real 2026 prices, what's included, what costs extra, and how not to overpay.

How much a move costs (2026)

Three line-items make up the total: van + driver, movers, extras (packing, disassembly, difficult parking). Below — real numbers from Helply BG requests over the past 3 months.

Burgas prices. Coastal resorts (Sunny Beach, Sveti Vlas) add 15–25%. Long-distance (more than 50 km) is priced separately.

What's included in the base price

How many movers to book

3+ movers — for a large office, walk-up building, or when you need to hit a hard deadline (e.g. handing keys back at 14:00).

When packing is worth it

Buy the packing add-on if you have:

• Expensive electronics (TV, PC, coffee machine) — dedicated box with foam
• Crystal, art, antiques — bubble wrap + rigid crate
• Lots of small stuff (books, kitchen, linen) — sort into labelled boxes
• Plants — special crates with ventilation

Packing cost: €20–50 for an average-load apartment including materials. Cheaper than replacing a broken TV.

Disassembly and reassembly

Most movers do this «on the side» for an add-on. Standard rates:
